Rockin' In The Balcony -- The new/old Dave Brubeck tune that took a half-century to write

Dave Brubeck recently approved a lyric I wrote in 2007 for "Balcony Rock," one of his Quartet's best-loved jazz instrumentals. That tune dates from his 1954 Jazz Goes To College album, so this vocal version--called "Rockin' In The Balcony"--is, in effect, a collaboration that took 53 years to complete. It's the title tune of this short CD by my daughter Emily, who sings jazz and pop.
